Twenty One Gun Podcast

Feb 15, 2021

I was lucky to have Joe Rogan Podcast alumni Dr. Mark Gordon and Andrew Marr on to discuss alternative treatments for TBI.

Dr. Gordon has been a strong advocate of Integrative and Functional Medicine and the promotion of wellness medicine thought the correction of underlying hormonal deficiencies. He was instrumental in promoting the recognition of Traumatic Brain Injury as a cause of hormonal deficiency in the hallmarked presentation on ESPN’s Outside the Lines (Jan. 2007). His book, The Clinical Application of Interventional Medicine (2008), is recognized by his peers as a primer for the standards of care and assessment for Interventional Endocrinology.
Andrew Marr is a husband, father, Retired Special Forces Green Beret, Co-Founder of Warrior Angels Foundation, TEDx Speaker, and best-selling co-author of TALES FROM THE BLAST FACTORY: A Brain Injured Special Forces Green Beret’s Journey Back from the Brink. His book has been turned into an award-winning full feature documentary film under the direction of EMMY and Academy Award winners and is titled Quiet Explosions: Healing the Brain.
If you want to hear Andrew's back story, you can listen to my one on one interview with him on episode #27 of 21 Gun or check out Quiet Explosions director Jerri Sher's interview episode #52.
